Great mixer with lots of features not seen in comparable makes. you know what you get with behringer and for the price this is the best mixer i could find with 6 XLR inputs. The onboard mixer and EQ are great, really good to have the flexibility for different venues. havent used the voice canceller feature live but this would be great for a DJ or small band looking to have some backing with the hassle of recording multiple tracks just to have the lead vocal removed. XLR output are always great and one of the leading factors for me buying the model.

Good bang for buck but needs a good eq

When I first plugged in my MC19PA I was quite disappointed by the results initially. There was a lot of noise at about 2.5k, and it was quite muddy at the bottom end.
There is a switch on the bottom of the mic that there is no mention of what it does anywhere, so I decided to test it. The switch is a low cut, and is really quite effective at eliminating the muddiness at the bottom end. Unfortunately it cuts too much, and reduces the feeling of the microphone. I then played with an eq, and started to get some good sound from it.
By using a notch filter on the noisy band of frequency and using the lf roll-off switch and boosting the bass I found that I could get it sounding quite passable.
I tried it in a number of different situations, and tested out the polar response. I found that it actually gave a surprisingly good sound with wind instruments, sounding really nice in the alto range. It also gave a good sound with bongo's, particularly when I placed it on the floor under the drum, and used a small pencil condenser above it.
I also used it as a skype microphone, and the person that I was talking to was quite impressed.
The pickup response was not quite as uniform as indicated on the graphs, but was within the bounds of what you would expect. There was not quite as much elimination at 135 degrees, but it was enough to mean that the one time that I have used it live I didn't have any concerns about feedback.
With a good eq this is capable of being quite a good microphone, but beware using it without one. This is not as good a boundary microphone as the Shure or Crown models, but at the price you wouldn't expect it to be. It is cheap enough and good enough that it can make a good back up microphone.

My new baby toy!

I am over the moon with my new camera!!! The process took a little longer than expected but in the end I got my new camera and is so happy to say it really is all and more than what I expected!
The body is a bit heavy for us girls but one of my friends says that the heavier your camera the better it is.
The buttons can be confusing in the beginning and I must still figure out some buttons, but the pleasure I get every time I push the button is satisfying than anything!

With my new Canon 5D mark 2 I found the lens just filled the gap below my longer Canon lens 75 - 300mm.
I have not ever found any problems with Canon lenses, however, I have learnt that Canon EF S lenses do NOT fit my new full frame Canon. So, I can only use my excellent Canon 68mm Macro with my Canon 450D camera. I can live with that.

I used the camera a couple of times before I got my own.
Making documentaries of events and small commercials for artists and companies demands a fast and dependable setup.
Recording on fullsize HDV tapes and 32 gig cf card at the same time with 4 channels of audio and HDV quality gives you a good start for your production.
Using the HD-SDI output for live video feed while recording on a pc via firewire and viewing the live feed via composite on a small screen, demonstrates the flexebillety of the camera.
I used it on a remote head with external power supply end sony lanc controller for a week long performance. controlling pan and tilt with dmx and controlling the focus, Iris and zoom as well as manny other functions via a single 10 meter long lanc cable.
The lens range is excellent and is of a good price/quality.
Best part is that it is light enough to carry around but heavy enough to give a stable picture from shoulder mount.
The menu structure is easy to understand and controll.
The lcd display is small, but just enough to use.
the sound from the supplyed mic is verry good and usable as ambience sound or main sound for live gig's but if you can, use the extra 2 audio channels for a live feed.

I have done two weddings with the camera and the only thing I like is the light weight. None of the functions like nightshot, white balance, and backlight can be used to get a professional effect and the camera is best just left on auto. It is not good in low light conditions as the picture becomes greyish. Futher the controls are flimsey to say the least and you get the feel of a cheap chinese car when using it. Then you cannot use any tapes you find in the shops as they cause picture abd audio dropout ending a shoot in disaster. Only the profesional digimaster tapes seem to work Still pictues are terrible unless you are really close up. Not what you would expect from a HD camera.

Je n'ai hélas pas eu encore le temps de la travailler en toutes conditions mais je peux d'or et déjà dire que c'est une très bonne affaire ! A ce prix, elle permet d'envisager des docus pro en laissant des fonds pour acheter de bons micros car celui qui est fournit est un modèle de base. Je vous conseil aussi le grand angle canon qui est disponible pour pas cher.

I have now owned this TV for a little over 6 months and after reading my previous review thought I should do a follow up.
In my previous review I mentioned how the audio was poor and that extenal audio hookup would improve things. I said that my 2.1 PC sound system sounded great, what I should have made clear was that it sounded great on my PC and that I had not yet connected it to the TV. So here comes the crunch.....this TV does not have an audio out option!
This TV is still very good in all other areas, but now because there is no audio output option and the TV speakers are so incredibly poor (2+2 watts!) I am changing my rating to 3 stars.
A drastic drop I know but good picture or not the TV is now useless to me in all but the most whisper quiet of environments. What the hell were Sharp thinking, equipping this TV with so much technology and not including a simple RCA audio output, that's just weird!
