I bought this camera last Autumn and I'm absolutely happy with this camera.

The quality is amazing. Nothing special these times, but I'm not talking about normal conditions. As an example: I filmed the "lunar eclipse" about a month ago. It was dark (of course) and it was very cloudy. Difficult to get the right settings. But if you get along with the camera, the result is amazing. My video-material was better then most of the pictures in the newspaper. Amazing low-light performance.

Opposite:I love being in the mountains. I snowboard every day all day in winter. I spent 5 Months in the Alps last winter. Me and my friend filmed a lot, almost every day. It's not that easy to get good material because of the missing colours and large amount of light.

The result makes me happy!

Another very important point is the bonus stuff you can buy for your EX1R. As an example: HyperDeck Shuttle from Black Magic Design. Means: Uncompressed Video in 10 Bit 4:2:2... just as an example ;)

I love this cam. At the start, terrible for handheld but ones you get use to it, its perfect in the hand. The automatic focus is useless, but who wants to shoot automatic? For me a nice working tool which you have to learn how to use, to use it to the perfection. The EX1 is exactly what I was looking for and if i could choose an extra feature, then a would wish a timecode in/out to sync with other equipment.

Far away from Luxemburg but a prompt service, in oppostion to my fears. Would prefer payment by credit cards event if it would mean a special charge of 3 %, or may let a possibility of choosing.

Very nice product, I bought it about 2 months ago. I have worked with Z5 before, but the EX1R is much better, a lot of options and very nice picture quality, even when the light is poor. Love to work tapeless. I had it shipped to Holland, no problems here.
