I was working with the Manfrotto Zoom Control bevore.
It was allways a loose and unstable mounting with this spring system.
The Libec ZC-9EX Zoom Control fits perfect to the handel and it sits very stable there. The control is smooth and easy to operate. There is a small adapter cable for the EX1. The metal connectors are very professional. A bit a pitty that this connecters cant be screwed together, in spite that the one side has a sread, so it would make the connection a bit more secure.
I can recommend this product very well, for me its perfect.

An excellent remote controller. Excellent construction material, high
precision electronics, good sensitivity on the progressive rocker,
compatible with Canon and Fujinon Broadcast lenses too (by removing the
Sony PMW-EX1's adapter and by switching Canon or Fuji lenses by the
switch on the body). Rec button switchable between REC and RET.
