I think, it is an excellent HD-camera with very good innovative funktions
(e.g. flash-based record funktion without tape). It has excellent video
and audio quality. I can recommend it.

I am a video professional and own an EX3 as well. THat was the fist one
we bought since in the reviews it was said that the EX1 is uncomfortable
and it has autofocus problems in low light. I would say none of it is
true. This is an excellent camera and i think except you need changeble
lenses i would take this not the EX3. The same videoquality and huge
price difference. I am in love with this cam at the moment. I upgraded
from sony Z1. I got it a week after my order and it was much cheaper than
any other place. I reccoment the camera and i reccomend that you order it

We bought this camcorder after testing most of the competing cameras in
it's price range. Great lens, sensors, LCD, picture quality, sensitivity,
wide exposure latitude, undercranking, overcranking, slow shutter, etc.
Only the viewfinder could show a little sharper picture - but compared to
some other brands, it is still very good. The LCD is so good (sharp and
shows well in most situations), that I use the viewfinder only in very
high light conditions. Although the camera is compact, it is relatively
heavy (because of the 1/2 inch sensors and good lens), so if You wish to
use it mostly as hand held, it would deserve some accessories (some
shoulder mount, etc.). Highly recommended!

film immitation, specially in combination with a DOF adapter and 35mm.
