The D-tap to "Aviator" power cable allows Globalmediapro L5 and L9 LED studio lights to be powered by D-tap equipped Globalmediapro batteries without the use of a V-mount or Gold Mount connector. This makes it possible to place the battery on the light stand or the floor rather than having to attach it to the light itself.

The distance between the light and the battery can be extended with the use of Globalmediapro XC D-tap to D-tap cables. Please note that the use of an extended cable, increase battery load thus draining it faster.
