This camera is a total shocker from Sony. Unbalanced on a tripod as the shoe is too far back. The neutral density filters make the picture blue and sometimes do not flip over all the way, leaving a black smudge at the bottom of the footage. My manual focus does not work an auto focus struggles to stay in focus. The steady shot is bad, even the HXR 1500 is better at a fraction of the cost. The gain is so grainy one cannot even attempt to use it. White balance does nothing, Macro does nothing. Heavy on batteries and double the space for the same quality compared to my HXR 1500. Lots of buttons, very few can be used to make a difference. If you offered me one for free, I wouldn't take it. Only sensible use is indoors where the room does not have window's dynamic range is shocking for such an expensive camera.

The best with SDI out for us the land it back to computer.
THe service on Global Media Pro was very good.
