I bought this microphone about 6 months ago and it is my go-to microphone whilst filmmaking. I need to find out a way to get the perfect settings and there is a bit of noise in the audio playback. But it sounds much nicer than the built in microphone on my DSLR.
I'm looking to get the pistol grip next to provide a much nicer audio recording experience.

The Globalmediapro M-105 Shotgun Microphone has proved to be a valuable resource to those working on a tight budget. The mic picks up good sound and has come in handy multiple times, now I find my friends bugging me to borrow it.

I wouldn't say this is a mic you would use on a professional shoot, though it's handy to have attached to your camera just in case something goes wrong. I've used this mic for auditions and small corporate shoots so far, all of which I've had no concerns.

For the price you're getting it's a great deal. The only downside is you'd be getting charged another $30 on top for postage (Melbourne), which is ridiculously expensive for something this small.

Overall I'd still recommend. For a little bit of money you can get quality sound as opposed to the awful sound picked up from the inbuilt mic in every DSLR. If you're however looking for something of a higher quality, i'd recommend spending a little extra on a RODE shotgun mic.

Recently bought this microphone and decided to test it at the beach. The mic handled high, low and mid ranges very well and proved to be highly functional in the windy conditions, letting me record speech and other sounds with good quality. Overall, very happy with the mic, has great functionality and audio quality, highly recommend.
