The Velbon QHD-71Q Quick Release Ball Socket Head is a heavy-duty ballhead made from magnesium alloy, with a built-in full-size quick release mechanism.
By using magnesium construction, a 20% weight reduction is achieved over traditional metals, while still maintaining the same stability and quality. The one-touch locking knob controls both the panning and ball movement at the same time.
The quick release system on this ballhead comes supplied with a large plate, to accommodate the increased load capacity of up to 7.5kg.
