EU. Do I pay more Import Duty and VAT if you supply from outside the EU?

No, if you purchase equipment made outside the EU (e.g. Japanese camcorders) you pay the same Import Duty and VAT.

Import Duty on goods made outside the EU:

1. you pay the same as when we supply from the UK, except you pay it to the courier and not to us.

VAT:

1. you pay the VAT of your country to the courier and not UK VAT to us. If you/your company are VAT registered, you claim the VAT back at the end of the VAT period. You do not pay VAT if you are VAT registered and we supply you from the UK office.
